CHAA

Chaa is the leader of Guild and acts as the supplier for weapons to the Afterlife Battle Front. Despite looking much older, he is actually the same age as most of the other SSS members. He often acts tough and unfriendly towards people, and was behind the first armed revolt in the Afterlife with the aid of Yuri.

FUJIMAKI

Fujimaki is a delinquent who often uses a bokken as a weapon. He enjoys picking on new people to the SSS, though he's not all that bad of a person. Despite his tough bravado, he is unable to swim, and is good friends with Ooyama.


HIDEKI HINATA

Hinata was the first unofficial member of the SSS, as he became partners with Yuri before its founding, along with his human roommate, Ooyama. He coined the nickname "Yurippe" for their leader, mostly because Yuri was his mother's name and he felt strange calling her that. He is bright and dependable, trying to save his friends whenever he can and acting as a valuable asset to the team.


MATSUSHIDA

Matsushida is a master at judo, and is physically the largest member of the SSS. He will never forget a debt he owes to someone, most especially if it involves food. He is most often seen using rocket launchers for weapons.


NAOI AYATO

Naoi is a human who is the vice president of the Student Council. Despite the NPC outlook he gives, he is quite ruthless, often seen beating up NPC classmates without remorse. He is much stricter than Kanade.

NODA

Noda is a self-reliant member of the SSS, most often characterized by the halberd he uses. He will listen to nobody other than Yuri, acting in an antagonistic manner to anyone else he meets. At his worst, he is a complete idiot whose weakness is education, and is unable to swim. He is also not afraid to harm anyone who gets in Yuri's way.

OOYAMA - PLAYED BY WHAMMY

Ooyama is a normal boy who, compared to most of the other members of the SSS, has no special talents whatsoever. This means that he can do what any normal person can do, and can do almost anything, but will not be the best at it. He is more accustomed to long-range combat with a sniper rifle than close-combat situations.

OTONASHI YUZURU

Otonashi is one of the newest members of the SSS and is a newcomer to the Afterlife. He wakes up in the Afterlife with a case of amnesia, and joins the SSS in an attempt to regain his memories. He is a person who takes extreme caution in his actions, but is also quite friendly, quickly becoming friends with the other members of the SSS. He also tends to make jokes about Hinata's sexuality.

SAITOU

Saitou is a member of the SSS who is good with guns, but prefers fishing more than fighting.

"T.K."

T.K. is a very mysterious person, to the point that nobody actually knows his real name. He appears to be talented in almost anything, and appears to be unable to remain still.

TAKAMATSU

Takamatsu is an honor student with a polite personality. He contributes to the SSS with intelligence gathering and similar affairs, and does not actively participate in battle. Despite appearing slim he is actually quite muscular.

TAKEYAMA "CHRIST"

An intelligent boy good at hacking computers, Takeyama often insists that people call him "Christ", and is summarily ignored despite his efforts. He is the programmer behind the briefing interface Yuri uses before operations.

HISAKO

Second-In-Command of Girls Dead Monster as the lead guitarist, Hisako has a candid personality and enjoys mahjong, with which she has incredible luck [though, in actual cases, she would cheat to win]. She is also described as quite athletic.

IRIE MIYUKI

Miyuki is the drummer for Girls Dead Monster. Even though she is essentially dead, she is often freaked out by ghost stories and legends of spirits, something which her best friend, Sekine, often likes to take advantage of. She joined Girls Dead Monster at the same time as Sekine.

IWASAWA MASAMI

Iwasawa is the leader of Girls Dead Monster, in charge of vocals and is the rhythm guitarist. She is often quiet, but is able to fascinate those who listen to her music, as she uses it to express her thoughts. She strives to create the kind of music that will touch the hearts of people.

NAKAMURA "YURIPPE" YURI

Yuri is the leader of the Afterlife War Front, leading a campaign of students against God, whom they blame for their cruel fates. She has the characteristics of a charismatic leader; her ability to stay calm, collected, and determined even in dark situations has gained her the respect of her fellow SSS members. She is intelligent, able to quickly understand situations and make snap decisions. She is often random and not unwilling to make necessary sacrifices for an operation; despite this, however, she feels responsible for their lives and is often affected by their losses.

SEKINE SHIORI

The bassist of Girls Dead Monster, Sekine is notorious for playing pranks on those around her to see the surprised faces of her victims. She is also known to abruptly improvise during concerts, much to Hisako's dismay. She is best friends with Irie, the drummer.

SHIINA

A self-proclaimed female ninja, Shiina often fights with dual-wielding kodachi and shuriken. She puts on an extremely tough, quiet, and stoic front, though she is extremely fond of cute things, in particular stuffed animals.

TACHIBANA "TENSHI" KANADE

Kanade, called "Tenshi" or "Angel" by the SSS, is actually a human acting as the Student Council President in the Afterlife. Kanade rarely shows any outward emotion, having abandoned a friendly nature because most people she would be friendly to would disappear. She enjoys mapo tofu and spends some of her free time gardening.

YUI - PLAYED BY SASKA

Yui is a fangirl of Girls Dead Monster and a member of the SSS who often assists in publicity and promotion for the band. She is known for her hyperactive, chatty nature and upbeat personality. She has a tendency to talk extremely fast, and enjoys playing guitar and singing on the street.

YUSA

Yusa acts as Yuri's eyes and ears on the battlefield, often conveying the state of the field to Yuri through a headset. She is calm and gentle-mannered, and has a very straightforward character.
